The Electronic Recycling Association (ERA) is a Not for Profit Organization dedicated to reducing electronic waste since 2004. Our mission is to minimize environmental impact through the recycling, repurposing, and donation of electronics and IT equipment.
Summary
We are seeking a Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our team in Calgary. In this role, you will play a vital part in our operations by ensuring the efficient handling of electronic equipment, contributing to our mission of promoting sustainable practices and reducing electronic waste.
Responsibilities
Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
Manage shipping and receiving processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with standards.
Utilize warehouse management systems for tracking inventory and orders.
Assist in order fulfillment and packaging for outgoing shipments.
Load and unload materials from trucks while adhering to safety protocols.
Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
Collaborate with team members to improve operational efficiency.
Support e-commerce activities as needed.
Qualifications
Proven experience in shipping and receiving roles within a warehouse setting.
Valid forklift certification is required.
Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS).
Robust attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
Basic math skills for inventory management.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented setting.
Experience with order fulfillment processes is an asset.
