Duties
Clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to uphold hygiene standards.
Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as peeling, chopping, and organizing ingredients under supervision.
Support the kitchen team during busy service periods by ensuring all items are ready for use.
Maintain cleanliness of workstations, floors, and storage areas throughout shifts.
Dispose of waste responsibly and ensure recycling procedures are followed.
Help with stock rotation and inventory checks for kitchen supplies.
Follow health and safety regulations diligently to ensure a safe working workplace for all staff.

Skills




Proven experience in restaurant or hospitality environments, particularly in kitchens or food service roles.
Strong knowledge of cleaning procedures and food handling safety standards.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
Basic understanding of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations.
Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting colleagues.
Familiarity with food service equipment and dishwashing machinery is advantageous.
Prior hotel or hospitality experience is a plus, demonstrating adaptability across various service settings.
