Pizza Chef – Wood-Fired Neapolitan Pizzeria

Pizzeria Da Romolo is a family-owned, authentic Neapolitan pizzeria located in the heart of Ottawa. We pride ourselves on serving traditional wood-fired pizza made with quality ingredients, genuine hospitality, and a passion for Italian food.

We're looking for an experienced Pizza Chef to join our team. If you love working with a real wood-burning oven, thrive in a fast-paced kitchen, and take pride in creating exceptional pizzas, we'd love to meet you.

Responsibilities
Stretch, top, and cook authentic Neapolitan pizzas in a wood-fired oven
Manage the fire and maintain proper oven temperatures throughout service
Prepare and organize ingredients for service
Ensure consistent quality, presentation, and timing
Keep your station clean, organized, and food-secure
Work closely with the kitchen team during busy services
Assist with prep and opening/closing duties as needed

What We're Looking For




Previous experience working with a wood-fired pizza oven is preferred
Experience making and cooking Neapolitan-style pizza is a strong asset
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and consistency
Positive attitude, reliability, and robust teamwork skills
Passion for outstanding food and continuous learning
