BC Muslim School (BCMS) is seeking a passionate, energetic, and qualified Female Physical Education Teacher to join our dedicated team. The successful candidate will inspire students to develop healthy lifestyles, physical fitness, teamwork, and sportsmanship while fostering a positive and inclusive learning setting.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement Physical Education lesson plans aligned with the BC Curriculum.
Provide instruction in a variety of physical activities, sports, and fitness programs.
Create a safe, positive, and inclusive learning setting for all students.
Assess student learning and physical development and provide regular feedback.
Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
Maintain accurate records of student attendance, assessment, and progress.
Collaborate with teachers and school staff to support student success and school initiatives.
Organize and supervise school sports teams, tournaments, and extracurricular athletic activities.
Promote sportsmanship, teamwork, leadership, and healthy living habits.
Uphold school policies and contribute positively to the school community.

Qualifications




Bachelor of Education degree from a recognized Canadian university.
Valid BC Teaching Certificate or a valid teaching certificate from a Canadian province (or proof of eligibility/in process).
Specialization or experience in Physical Education is preferred.
Strong classroom management and student engagement skills.
Knowledge of the BC Curriculum.
Experience teaching middle school students is an asset.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a professional team.
Respect for Islamic values, culture, and the school's mission.

Valid BC Teaching Certificate or proof of certification eligibility.
Recent Criminal Record Check.
Official undergraduate and/or graduate transcripts.
Teaching evaluations (for experienced teachers).
Two professional reference letters.
