The Role

As a Senior Labourer, you will play a key hands-on role in our shallow utility projects (water, sewer, storm, gas). You’ll work alongside our Foreman and operators to deliver high-quality underground infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
Install and backfill water, sewer, storm, and gas lines
Support trenching, pipe laying, and service tie-ins




Operate hand tools, compaction equipment, and small machinery
Maintain a clean, organized, and secure work site
Mentor and support junior labourers
Participate in daily safety meetings and FLHAs

Requirements
Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in shallow utilities or civil construction
Strong understanding of underground utility installation
Physically fit and able to perform heavy manual labour
Valid Class 5 Driver’s License (clean abstract preferred)
CSTS 2020, Ground Disturbance, and WHMIS (preferred)
Reliable transportation and willingness to work outdoors in all weather
