Overview

We are looking to add a night crew to our team at JAG Industries. JAG Industries is a custom miscellaneous metal and steel fabricator working both in the residential and commercial markets. We are seeking motivated individuals who thrive in a hands-on setting, are eager to develop their skills, and are committed to safety and excellence in every task. If you’re passionate about manufacturing and ready to contribute to a thriving miscellaneous metals and steel fabrication operation, this is the perfect fit for you!

Hours are 4 - 10 hour shifts (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday). Shifts start at 3:30pm.

Duties
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and mechanical specifications to ensure accurate fabrication of components
Paint/Prime steel
Use hand tools
Set up and operate cranes and forklifts safely to move materials, finished products, and heavy equipment within the shop floor
Assist in assembly processes by fitting fabricated parts together according to specifications
Conduct routine quality inspections to verify dimensions, surface finish,



and overall compliance with project requirements
Maintain a clean, organized workspace adhering to safety protocols at all times

Qualifications
Previous fabrication experience and knowledge of steel fabrication processes is an asset
Motivated, reliable, and a self-starter
Ability to read blueprints accurately and perform basic math calculations for measurements and adjustments
Proficient in operating hand tools
Strong understanding of manufacturing safety standards and procedures
WHMIS an asset

Pay: $24.00-$26.00 per hour
