Qillaq Innovations is seeking a dedicated Diner Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about food preparation and cooking, with a focus on delivering high-quality homestyle meals in a rapid-paced environment. This role offers an opportunity to showcase culinary skills while providing excellent food service to our valued customers. Prior kitchen experience is preferred, and a strong understanding of food safety standards is essential. The Diner Cook will play a vital role in ensuring effective meal preparation and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area. We cook from scratch home style meals for about 50 guest, we offer take out and eat-in all day breakfast, and we cater events.

Duties
Prepare and cook a variety of menu items according to standardized recipes and quality standards
Assist with food handling, storage, and safety procedures to ensure compliance with health regulations
Serve dishes promptly and accurately to customers, ensuring presentation meets expectations
Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, including washing dishes, sanitizing work surfaces, and organizing supplies




Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy hours
Monitor inventory levels and communicate needs for restocking ingredients and supplies
Follow all food safety guidelines and proper food handling techniques at all times

Qualifications
Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments preferred
Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and meal assembly
Robust understanding of food safety standards and proper hygiene practices
Excellent portioning skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
Valuable communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
Catering experience for groups of 20 - 500.

Pay: $22.00-$26.00 per hour
