Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Painter/Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in various painting techniques and construction practices. This role involves working on both residential and commercial projects, ensuring high-quality finishes and customer satisfaction. The Painter/Laborer will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint, and performing restoration tasks as needed.
Responsibilities
Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and caulking as necessary
Apply paints, stains, and coatings using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment
Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements
Assist in restoration projects by repairing damaged surfaces and structures
Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure project specifications are met
Manage time efficiently to meet project deadlines while maintaining quality standards
Experience
Proven experience in construction painting, residential painting, commercial painting, or industrial painting
Familiarity with carpentry techniques and rigging is preferred
Strong understanding of time management principles to prioritize tasks effectively
Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical documents related to construction projects
