Landmark Bus Lines is a trusted transportation provider serving communities across Ontario. We are currently seeking an Acting Charter Dispatcher to join our Newmarket branch. This position is being posted to provide coverage for an employee absence. The assignment is temporary in nature, and the duration is currently unknown.

Key Responsibilities
Handle incoming charter inquiries and booking requests
Prepare charter quotes and confirm trip details with customers
Coordinate charter trip dispatching with the dispatch team
Prepare and distribute charter paperwork and driver information packages
Conduct confirmation calls with drivers prior to charter trips
Assist with school bus dispatch operations as required
Monitor and manage two-way radio communications
Greet visitors and respond to customer inquiries professionally and courteously
Perform general office duties including filing, data entry, photocopying,



and document management
Operate a school vehicle on assigned routes when required
Support team members and assist in other operational areas as needed

Qualifications
Previous dispatching experience is considered an asset
Experience working with the public and providing customer service
Solid organizational and multitasking skills
Intermediate computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance and mechanical processes is an asset
Valid Ontario Class B Driver's Licence required
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
