Fen’s Market is currently seeking a Food Service Supervisor for our Mactaquac location. The Food Service Supervisor is responsible for all aspects of In Store Prepared food items.

Responsibilities

· Assist, in a timely manner, in determining appropriate quantity of food items for cooking, baking and serving; adjust and extend recipes as needed; maintain food & beverage quality standards

· Monitor temperatures of food to assure safety and quality of standards are met; monitor water temperatures to assure proper temperature for sanitizing

· Merchandise and serve food and beverage according to established guidelines and replenish as needed

· Clean equipment, utensils and appliances and properly store food and beverage supplies; assure compliance with sanitation and safety procedures and regulations; clean refrigerators and storerooms as required

· Assist in storing unused food and supplies; dispose of unusable leftovers; utilize proper methods of handling foods to be stored

· Assist with inventory and maintain routine records as directed; prepare records of food and beverage consumed vs. leftover.





· Communicate effectively both orally and in writing

· Lift heavy objects up to 25 pounds

Requirements

· A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a team leader in a kitchen environment

· Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to foster strong relationships and partnerships

· Demonstrated success in inspiring and leading a team

· Excellent communication skills both verbal and written

· Self-driven and results-oriented with a explicit business focus and solid problem solving skills

· Excellent time management skills

· Positive and optimistic attitude, even in the face of adversity

· Attention to detail and positive organizational skills

· Willingness to be open, to learn, and take on new responsibilities

· Ability to appropriately delegate work duties and manage and motivate staff

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $16.50-$17.50 per hour
