Photo Lab Assistant – Production & Packaging

Are you someone who is organized, dependable, comfortable with technology who thrives in a fast-paced setting where there's always something to do?

This is a hands-on, wide-ranging position supporting different areas of our lab, with a primary focus on packaging client orders and assisting with the production of school and sports photography. Experience in a photo lab is not required.

What you'll be doing

Your day may include:
Quality checking and packaging completed orders
Sorting and organizing school and sports photography orders
Assisting with different stages of photo production
Helping in different areas of the lab as priorities and workloads change

Our workload can vary significantly throughout the season. During our busy seasons, we work with a high volume of orders and firm deadlines, so being able to stay focused and organized when things get busy is important.

Who we're looking for

You don't need previous photo lab experience. You do need to be someone who:
Is comfortable with computers and learning new technology




Can stay organized and keep track of multiple tasks
Works well in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Can work independently and stay on task without constant supervision
Is flexible and willing to move between different jobs as needed
Can follow established processes while recognizing when something doesn't look right
Is reliable and takes responsibility for completing their work
Has excellent attention to detail
Is willing to learn

We're a small team, which means everyone plays an key role and being willing to pitch in where needed matters.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week

Port Coquitlam, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
