The Prospect:

The Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook meals in accordance with our menu and chef’s specifications.
Maintain the efficient flow of kitchen orders to service
Ensure the accuracy, presentation, and temperature of dishes
Set up and stock stations with necessary supplies, including mise en place for upcoming service.
Ensure the quality and freshness of ingredients and dishes.
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to food safety standards.
Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely preparation and delivery of dishes.
Handle, store, and rotate all products properly and in accordance with health department regulations

Qualifications:
Have a passion for food and feed off the buzz of a busy restaurant.
You have experience in the kitchen but are hungry to learn more and develop your skills
Culinary school diploma or equivalent professional experience.
Strong understanding of various cooking methods,



ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and evenings.
Previous experience preparing sushi, sashimi, or working with fresh and raw seafood in a high-volume restaurant environment is required.
Knowledge of seafood handling, storage, fabrication, and food safety best practices.
Ability to maintain quality and consistency when preparing raw fish and seafood products.
Food Protected Level 1 certification (or equivalent) preferred.
