Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will provide skilled massage therapy services to clients, promoting relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being. This role offers an opportunity to help clients improve their health through personalized treatments in a welcoming environment. Candidates should possess excellent communication skills and a solid understanding of medical terminology related to therapeutic practices.

Responsibilities
Perform professional massage therapy sessions tailored to each client's needs, including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, or other modalities.
Conduct client consultations to assess their health history and specific concerns.
Maintain a clean, safe, and relaxing environment for clients before and after treatments.
Educate clients on self-care techniques and recommend appropriate therapy plans.
Keep detailed records of treatments provided and client progress.
Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper sanitation and hygiene practices.




Stay updated on the latest massage therapy techniques and industry standards through ongoing professional development.

Skills
Strong knowledge of medical terminology relevant to massage therapy and client health assessments.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming and trusting environment for clients.
Effective communication skills to clearly explain treatment procedures and address client questions or concerns.
Ability to listen actively and demonstrate empathy towards clients’ needs.
Certification from an accredited massage therapy program is required; state licensing as applicable.
Prior experience in a clinical or spa setting is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for new graduates.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $65.00-$115.00 per hour
