Overview
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages and providing exceptional customer service in a quick-paced setting. You will play a key role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while ensuring that all food and beverage items are prepared to the highest standards.
Duties
Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages, ensuring quality and consistency.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar and seating areas.
Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, providing recommendations as needed.
Handle cash transactions, including processing payments and managing the cash register.
Assist with food preparation, ensuring adherence to food safety standards.
Monitor inventory levels of food and beverage supplies, restocking as necessary.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving any issues promptly.
Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling and preparation.
Skills
Prior experience as a barista is preferred but not required.
Solid time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods.
Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety practices.
Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
Familiarity with cashiering systems is an advantage but can be learned on the job.
