TownePlace Suites by Marriott Brantford & Conference Centre is seeking a reliable, energetic, and guest-focused Houseperson / Housekeeper to join our housekeeping team. This position plays a key role in ensuring guest rooms and public areas meet Marriott's cleanliness and presentation standards while delivering an exceptional guest experience.

Position Summary

The Houseperson / Housekeeper is responsible for cleaning guest rooms, maintaining public spaces, assisting room attendants, and ensuring all areas of the hotel are clean, organized, and welcoming for our guests.

Key ResponsibilitiesHousekeeping Duties
Clean and service guest rooms according to Marriott brand standards.
Change linens, make beds, and replenish guest room amenities.
Clean bathrooms, kitchens, floors, windows, and furniture.
Remove garbage and recycling from guest rooms and hotel areas.
Report maintenance concerns and safety hazards promptly.

Houseperson Duties
Maintain cleanliness of hallways, elevators, stairwells, lobby, fitness centre, and other public areas.
Deliver linens, towels, and supplies to housekeeping staff.
Assist with laundry operations as required.
Transport housekeeping carts and supplies throughout the hotel.




Support room attendants with special cleaning projects and deep-clean assignments.
Set up and break down meeting rooms and banquet spaces when required.
Respond promptly to guest requests and hotel operational needs.

Qualifications
Previous hotel housekeeping experience considered an asset.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
Flexible availability, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
