We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Painter/Labourer to join our energetic construction team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a variety of projects, from residential to industrial settings, by applying painting techniques and providing essential labour support. Responsibilities
Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primers using hand tools and power tools
Apply paint, stain, or coatings to various surfaces following schematics and blueprints
Assist with rigging and scaffolding setup to ensure safe access to work areas
Perform demolition or removal of old finishes as needed for restoration projects
Use carpentry skills for minor repairs, framing, or adjustments during project execution
Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of debris responsibly
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure project timelines are met





Skills
Construction experience with a focus on painting and labour tasks
Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings accurately
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and scaffolding equipment
Knowledge of construction painting techniques for residential, commercial, and industrial settings
Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently
Experience with caulking, rigging, carpentry, and the use of schematics is highly desirable
Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively within a team and with clients if needed
