Registered Social Worker

Location: Scarborough ON & Pickering, ON

Pay Rate: $25.00/hour

Job Type: Full-Time | In office

Hours: Approximately 35 hours/week

Position Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and results-driven Registered Social Worker to provide counselling, family support, case management, and clinical guidance to youth and individuals in residential programs. The role will also support Day Treatment programming and collaborate with families, staff, schools, and community partners.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement individualized case plans and intervention strategies.
Provide individual and family counselling and support.
Facilitate individual and group programs.
Provide clinical guidance on behaviour management and trauma-informed practices.
Monitor and review individual care plans.
Provide crisis intervention and critical incident support.
Collaborate with families, schools, community partners, and service providers.
Provide supervision and support to Day Treatment staff and students.




Maintain accurate documentation and participate in an on-call rotation.

Requirements
Bachelor of Social Work (BSW)
Registration with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW).
Experience working with youth, preferably in residential or community-based settings.
Knowledge of mental health, substance use, and CYFSA is an asset.
Robust communication, counselling, documentation, and interpersonal skills.
Valid Class G Driver’s Licence, clean abstract, and reliable transportation.
Current Police Check & Vulnerable Sector Search within 6 months.
First Aid & CPR certification.
CPI/Non-Violent Crisis Intervention certification is significant.

Pay: From $25.00 per hour
