Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and responsible Highway Driver to join our transportation team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for safely operating heavy-duty trucks and specialized equipment to transport freight across designated routes. Your expertise will ensure timely deliveries, adherence to safety regulations, and efficient handling of cargo. Duties
Safely operate commercial trucks and heavy equipment to transport freight over long and short distances.
Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections of vehicles, including checking brakes, lights, tires, and fluid levels to ensure optimal performance.
Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment, ensuring proper securing of cargo for protected transit.
Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, pickups, and vehicle logs in compliance with transportation regulations.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and clients to coordinate schedules and address any delivery issues promptly.
Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies to ensure a secure driving environment.




Perform routine maintenance checks and report any mechanical issues requiring repair or servicing.

Requirements
Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
Proven experience in commercial driving, preferably with freight or logistics companies.
Ability to operate heavy equipment such as forklifts safely and efficiently.
Knowledge of safety regulations related to highway driving and freight handling.
Experience with automotive repair or basic vehicle maintenance is a plus.
Strong communication skills and the ability to follow detailed instructions accurately.
Physical ability to load/unload cargo manually or with equipment as needed.

Pay: $8,000.00-$10,000.00 per month
