We are seeking a skilled and motivated Carpenter/Joiner to join our energetic construction team. Responsibilities
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate project execution
Construct, install, repair, and finish decks, using hand tools and power tools
Perform layout, framing, and decking installation tasks as required on various projects
Assist with restoration projects by repairing or replacing damaged woodwork or structural elements
Install lighting, railings, and other deck features
Support heavy lifting operations safely and efficiently while adhering to safety protocols
Maintain accurate documentation of work progress and materials used for project estimation and reportingExperience
Proven construction experience with a strong background in carpentry or woodworking
Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, and construction estimating processes
Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools
Knowledge of framing
Experience in restoration work or handyman tasks is a plus
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely in various environments
Basic electrical or plumbing experience is advantageous but not mandatory
