Overview
We are seeking a skilled and organized Dental Receptionist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for patients, managing appointment scheduling, patient check-in and check-out, and administrative tasks. This role requires excellent communication skills, proficiency with dental software, and a solid understanding of dental and medical terminology. Prior experience in dental or medical office settings is highly preferred to ensure smooth operations and exceptional patient service.

Responsibilities
Greet patients warmly and efficiently manage front desk operations
Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments using dental practice management software such as Dentrix or Epic
Answer multi-line phone systems promptly and professionally
Collect patient information, verify insurance details, and update electronic medical records accurately
Assist patients with paperwork and billing inquiries
Maintain a clean and organized reception area




Manage correspondence and handle administrative tasks related to patient care
Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and confidentiality standards

Qualifications
Previous experience as a Dental Receptionist or in a medical office setting is highly desirable
Proficiency with dental software such as Dentrix, Epic, or similar electronic medical records systems
Robust knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry and healthcare
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
Ability to handle multi-line phone systems efficiently and professionally
Office experience in a fast-paced environment preferred
Familiarity with front desk procedures, appointment scheduling, and administrative duties
Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor to provide exceptional patient service

Pay: $24.00-$30.00 per hour
