Jess' Sky is a beautiful restaurant located atop Eagle Mountain in Coquitlam, offering guests a welcoming dining experience with stunning views over the Fraser Valley. We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and personable Host/Hostess to join our Restaurant Food & Beverage team.
About the Role
As the first point of contact for our guests, the Host/Hostess plays an important role in creating a warm and welcoming experience from the moment guests arrive.
We are looking for someone who is friendly, professional, dependable, and comfortable working in a busy restaurant setting.
Responsibilities
Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and skilled manner
Manage the flow of guests and seating arrangements
Manage reservations and assist guests with seating using our reservation/POS systems (Open Table)
Communicate with servers and management to maintain an efficient seating flow
Answer guest questions and provide excellent customer service
Assist with bussing tables, running food, and other front-of-house duties when needed
Keep the host stand, entrance,
and dining areas clean and organized
Help support the restaurant team during busy periods
Ensure guests feel welcomed and well taken care of throughout their visit
What We're Looking For
Friendly, outgoing personality with a genuine passion for hospitality
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Reliable and punctual
Able to remain calm and organized in a busy environment
Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is an asset, but we are willing to train the right person
Comfortable working as part of a team
Professional and positive attitude
Must have availability to work weekdays
