Job Summary
The Shop Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing daily operations within the shop environment, ensuring that production goals are met efficiently and effectively. This position requires a strong understanding of construction requirements for project sites, supply chain management, and the ability to lead a team in a fast-paced setting. The ideal candidate will possess experience with inventory software, and has an understanding of construction equipment, materials and tools.

Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate daily shop activities to ensure optimal productivity and quality standards.
Implement lean manufacturing techniques to streamline operations and reduce waste.
Manage inventory levels and oversee the procurement of materials necessary for production.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance supply chain efficiency.
Load and unload all required materials and tools for project sites




Ensure all tools and materials are working and in good order
Train, mentor, and evaluate shop personnel to foster a high-performance work environment.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.

Requirements
Proven experience in a supervisory role within a construction setting
Has a strong knowledge of construction tools and equipment
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work in a quick-paced setting while managing multiple priorities.
