We are seeking reliable and safety-conscious individuals to join our team as Traffic Control Persons (Flaggers) based out of Fredericton, NB. In this essential role, you will help keep workers, motorists, and the public safe by directing and managing traffic around construction, maintenance, and work zones.

Key Responsibilities
Direct vehicle and pedestrian traffic using stop/slow paddles, hand signals, and other approved methods.
Set up, maintain, and remove traffic control devices (cones, signs, barricades, etc.) according to approved plans.
Monitor work zones and communicate effectively with crew members and other Traffic Control Persons.
Maintain a high level of alertness and professionalism in all weather and traffic conditions.
Follow all safety protocols, company procedures, and the New Brunswick Work Area Traffic Control Manual (WATCM) guidelines.
Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements
Valid Class 5 driver’s licence (Province of Current Brunswick).
Current First Aid certification.
Valid Traffic Control Person (TCP) / Flagger training and certification (e.g., Safety Services New Brunswick Traffic Control Person course or equivalent WATCM-approved training). Note:



Candidates without current TCP certification may be considered if willing to complete training promptly.
Ability to stand for extended periods and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Strong communication skills, reliability, and a safety-first mindset.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform the physical demands of the role.
Reliable transportation to job sites in and around the Fredericton area.

What We Offer
Hourly rate of $18 to $22 (depending on training and experience).
