One of our clients in GTA region is looking for a Facility Maintenance to join their team.

Pay - Up to $63K

Responsibilities:
Assist electrical, plumbing, HVAC/refrigeration, and millwright trades with maintenance activities.
Troubleshoot and assist with servicing mechanical systems and equipment, including pumps, fans, compressors, motors, HVAC units, and air-handling equipment.
Perform routine facility maintenance, inspections, repairs, and equipment servicing.
Replace filters and carry out basic maintenance on building systems and equipment.
Install, remove, and inspect fire extinguishers and other safety equipment.
Repair doors, replace ceiling tiles, and complete general building repairs.
Clean and maintain parts, tools, and equipment.
Repair and maintain tools and equipment from the tool crib.
Operate lifts and other equipment safely when required.
Handle hazardous materials and chemicals in accordance with workplace procedures.
Maintain facilities in a clean, secure, organized, and presentable condition.
Complete maintenance logs, short reports, and other required documentation.
Follow workplace safety procedures and properly use PPE and safety equipment.
Assist trades staff with electrical, plumbing,



HVAC/refrigeration, machining, and millwright-related maintenance work.
Support delivery handling and movement of materials as required.

Qualifications & Experience:
Secondary School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience working in an industrial or commercial maintenance workplace.
Experience maintaining and troubleshooting equipment such as hand tools, power tools, fan coil units, air-handling units, exhaust fans, building automation systems, building equipment, and vehicles.
Valuable communication and computer skills, with the ability to complete short reports and work from manuals, drawings, and sketches.
Knowledge of workplace safety procedures and proper use of PPE.
Experience handling hazardous materials and chemical products.
Experience operating scissor lifts, man lifts, or other heavy equipment is an asset.
Experience maintaining and repairing building or site infrastructure is an asset.
Experience completing maintenance logs, records, and reports is an asset.
Experience assisting skilled trades in electrical, plumbing, HVAC/refrigeration, machining, or millwright work is an asset.
