Responsibilities
Assist with the installation, repair, and maintenance of roofing systems using various hand tools and equipment
Prepare work sites by clearing debris, setting up scaffolding, and organizing materials for efficient workflow
Support carpenters and other tradespeople in measuring, cutting, and fitting roofing components according to blueprints and project specifications
Perform heavy lifting of roofing materials such as shingles, plywood, and metal panels safely and efficiently
Apply caulking and sealants to ensure waterproofing integrity around flashing, vents,



and joints
Read blueprints and construction plans to understand project scope and specific requirements
Maintain a clean work setting by organizing tools and disposing of waste properly throughout the job site

Requirements
Prior construction experience or hands-on handyman work preferred; familiarity with roofing is a plus
Ability to operate hand tools such as hammers, saws, drills, and caulking guns effectively
Physical strength to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods during work shift
Carpentry skills that support accurate measurements, cutting, and fitting of roofing materials
Strong safety awareness with a focus on proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
