Position Overview
The Kitchen Technician Inc is currently seeking knowledgeable and dependable Cabinet Installers with a minimum of 5 years of practical experience. This role is ideal for someone with strong expertise in cabinet installation and either knowledge of or willing to train in kitchen refacing, who takes pride in delivering precise, high-quality results and providing a positive experience for clients.

We have been replacing, refacing, and repairing kitchens in the Greater Victoria area for over 30 years, and with increasing growth are expanding our installation team. Review the posting, and reach out to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
Install kitchen cabinets, vanities, and millwork with precision and efficiency
Complete kitchen cabinet refacing, including door replacement, edge banding application, and hardware installation.
Measure and assess job sites to ensure proper fit and alignment
Read and interpret drawings, layouts, instructions, and specifications
Make necessary adjustments and modifications in office.
Ensure all installations meet quality standards and client expectations
Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Communicate effectively with team members, project coordinators,



and clients

Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum 5 years of experience in cabinet installation
Proven experience with kitchen refacing projects
Robust knowledge of cabinetry materials, hardware, and installation techniques
Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently
High attention to detail and craftsmanship
Strong problem-solving skills for handling site-specific challenges and ability to work independently
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Ability to lift heavy materials and work in various job site conditions

Preferred Skills
Experience with custom cabinetry installation
Experience with cabinet modifications and on-site adjustments
Basic finishing skills, including touch-ups and minor repairs Familiarity with residential renovation projects
Experience with soft-close hardware and specialty accessories

Job Type: Full time

Pay: $32.00-$37.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
