Responsibilities
Support pharmacists in preparing prescriptions, labeling medications, and managing inventory
Assist patients with over-the-counter products and answer basic medication-related questions
Maintain accurate documentation of medication dispensing, inventory logs, and patient records
Ensure the pharmacy environment is clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards
Handle administrative tasks such as processing insurance claims, billing, and appointment scheduling
Support medication administration procedures under supervision when required
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure timely delivery of medications and patient care services
Requirements
Previous experience in a hospital or healthcare setting is highly desirable
Pharmacy technician experience or certification is preferred but not mandatory; training opportunities available for the right candidate
Strong understanding of medical terminology and medication safety protocols
Excellent patient care skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
Ability to accurately handle medication inventory and follow detailed instructions
Valuable organizational skills with attention to detail in record keeping
Willingness to learn about medication administration processes and pharmacy operations

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
