Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Drywall Taper to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for finishing drywall surfaces to ensure a smooth, qualified appearance. This role requires attention to detail, proficiency in taping techniques, and the ability to work efficiently within a fast-paced construction environment. The Drywall Taper plays a vital part in delivering high-quality results on residential and commercial projects.

Responsibilities
Apply joint compound over drywall seams and fasteners to create a seamless surface
Tape drywall joints using paper or fiberglass mesh tape for durability and smooth finish
Sand and smooth finished surfaces to prepare for painting or other finishes
Read and interpret blueprints and project specifications to ensure accurate application of materials
Use hand tools such as taping knives, sanders, and mixers effectively
Maintain a clean work area, ensuring safety standards are met at all times
Collaborate with carpenters, painters, and other trades to complete projects efficiently




Assist with caulking and minor handyman tasks as needed to support overall project completion

Requirements
Proven experience in drywall taping, finishing, or related construction roles
Knowledge of construction painting, carpentry, and general handyman skills is preferred
Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical drawings accurately
Experience with caulking and other finishing techniques is a plus
Robust attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various construction settings
Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks, lift materials, and stand for extended periods
Prior experience in construction or related fields such as carpentry or general contracting is advantageous

Pay: $25.00-$38.72 per hour
