Job Summary

Bar Etc. is looking for a bartender to join our team! The ideal candidate would have prior experience with cocktail bars or a restaurant with a compelling cocktail program. Knowledge of classics, good work ethic and a sense of urgency are essential as we run with a lean team. As long as these essentials are prioritized, we like to have fun at work. There are a lot of learning opportunities when it comes to bar prep and contemporary techniques.

Duties
Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently and accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS.
Greet guests warmly, take drink orders, and provide personalized recommendations to enhance their experience.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety and food handling standards.
Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible serving and prevent over-serving, adhering to all alcohol service regulations.
Restock bar supplies, garnishes, glassware,



and utensils promptly to ensure smooth operations during busy hours.
Collaborate with team members in the restaurant or food industry setting to deliver seamless service from order taking to serving food and beverages.

Skills
Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with strong customer service skills.
Familiarity with POS systems like Micros POS for order processing and cashiering functions.
Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and responsible alcohol service practices.
Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during high-volume shifts.
Solid communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, billing, and tip calculations.
Experience in hospitality or food industry roles that demonstrate adaptability, teamwork, and professionalism.

Pay: From $17.60 per hour
