We have a requirement for two experienced caregivers. Please ONLY apply when you meet the Job Requirements and Qualifications listed below.

Job Requirements:
The Caregiver must be able to use a smartphone to clock in and out (for payroll purposes) and put daily visit care notes in our care system.
Proof of eligibility to work in Canada. Please do not apply if you are not eligible to work in Canada as caregiver or Personal Support Worker (PSW).
Must pass a criminal record check with a vulnerable sector check (CRC-VS)
Must be compassionate, honest, reliable, confident and highly sociable
Required: Valid CPR and First Aid Training Certificate
Preferred but not required: Valid Food Safety Certificate
Preferred but not required: TLR (Transferring Lifting Repositioning) Certificate
Required: Personal Care Worker (PSW) Certificate
Preferred but not required: reliable transportation
Willing to travel within Yorkton and surrounding areas.

Qualifications and Caregiving Duties:
Parkinson’s / Dementia Care
Light Housekeeping and meal preparation
Personal care – toileting, sponge bath, dressing/grooming, Continence Management, feeding
Medication reminders
Companionship – conversation, reading stories, singing




To provide physical and emotional comfort and safety to the client
Transferring, Lifting, and Repositioning
Transport to appointments and errands

Work Schedules:
Weekday and Weekend
Day, Afternoon, and Evening shifts
Overnight shifts

Job Types: Casual

Salary: $18.00-$19.00 per hour

Experience:
Previous experience with caring for older adults and people with disabilities preferred
