Heavy Duty Mechanic

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical knowledge, experience working with a variety of heavy trucks and equipment, and take pride in quality workmanship.

We are currently seeking a 3rd Year Apprentice to Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic. A valid CVIP License is an asset but not required.

Responsibilities
Inspect, diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical issues on heavy-duty trucks, trailers, machinery, and equipment
Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, filter replacements, inspections, and preventative maintenance
Troubleshoot and repair air, electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems
Use diagnostic equipment to accurately identify and resolve issues
Work safely and efficiently while maintaining a high standard of workmanship
Keep your work area clean, organized, and professional
Take pride in the quality of your work and the service provided to our customers

Qualifications
3rd Year Apprentice or Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic
Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
Familiarity with diagnostic tools and equipment
Proficient in the use of power tools and hand tools




Comfortable working on a variety of heavy-duty equipment and brands
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently as well as as part of a team
Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently
