Seeking an enthusiastic, responsible, creative, and passionate Instructor with experience in teaching essential life skills, Microsoft courses and office skills to adults from diverse backgrounds. Must be able to teach the approved curriculum as set out by Canadian Vocational Training Centre.

Responsibilities:
Minimum 2 years of experience helping people with employability skills and life skills, including team building, conflict resolution, time management, and more.
Minimum 2 years of experience working in an administrative role and/or teaching
Thorough understanding of conflict resolution, time management, stress management, team building, problem solving and anger management techniques and be able to relay those techniques in an effective manner to others




Must be able to follow the curriculum as set out by CVTC, but also be able to reframe concepts to be understood by adult learners with diverse backgrounds
Very strong spoken and written English communication skills
A strong passion for helping others succeed
Solid organizational skills
Able to work independently and with a group
Able to write basic reports on student progress and track marks
Comprehensive understanding of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook (2019 or365 preferred)

Hours:

Monday/Tuesday to Friday, excepting statutory holidays.
