Role: Java Software EngineerLocation: Toronto (Hybrid)Duration: 6+ monthsPay rate: CAD 60 to CAD 62/hr. on T4Search/Recommendation experience- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable distributed systems using Java, ensuring reliability and efficiency.- Collaborate cross-functionally with architects, product managers, and QA teams in an Agile environment, leveraging tools like JIRA, Git, and CI/CD.- Define system architecture, storage solutions, APIs, and testing strategies, with a focus on performance, scalability, and best practices.- Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and contribute to roadmap planning, estimation, and operational excellence.- Utilize robust expertise in data structures, algorithms, databases (SQL/NoSQL), messaging systems, and REST-based services to build robust applications.
