Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles, ensuring optimal performance and safety. A commitment to quality service and safety standards is essential.

Duties
Perform diagnostics and repairs on automobiles using hand tools, power tools, computers.
Conduct maintenance tasks such as tire changes, oil changes, brake repairs, exhaust repair and replacment, vehicle alignment, and suspension replacement.
Utilize welding skills for metal repairs or fabrication when necessary.
Perform heavy lifting tasks safely while adhering to safety protocols.
Provide excellent customer service by communicating repair findings clearly and offering maintenance advice.
Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and quality standards.

Requirements




Proven experience as an automotive mechanic with dealership or industrial experience preferred.
Robust mechanical knowledge across various systems is essential.
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and diagnostic software.
Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work in physically demanding environments.
Excellent problem-solving skills combined with attention to detail.
Valid mechanic certification or relevant technical training is preferred but not mandatory.
Robust customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information effectively. This position requires a motivated individual committed to maintaining high standards of safety and quality in automotive repair and industrial maintenance tasks.

Pay: $28.00-$45.00 per hour
