Job Description

Responsibilities:
Inspect buses daily and determine is adjustments or repairs needed.
Able to understand electrical & HVAC schematics.
Diagnose mechanical problems in buses.
Perform Monthly and semi annual DOT Safeties
Follow and implement PM programs
Repair or replace malfunctioning or worn mechanical components.
Lubricate & grease buses as required.
Must have own tools.
Follows protected work procedures.
Other duties as assigned.

Skills, Knowledge, & Abilities:
Journeyperson status.
Valid Class 5 driver’s license with air brake endorsement. (class 3 with air is an asset)
Ability to job task plan and organize. Ability to problem solve, think critically, and make decisions.
Heavy lifting required.
Past Bus experience is an asset

Working Conditions:




Work is completed in doors
Hours: 7:00 am – 4:00 pm. Monday - Friday. On call as required if Bus breaks down while in use

*Wage:

Negotiable based on years of expirence and certification
