Join the Yuułuʔiłʔatḥ community as a full time Community Wellness Support Worker in Port Alberni. Engage in outreach, advocacy, and cultural support for citizens seeking health and stability.

In this Band 5 position, you'll provide necessary outreach and wellness navigation for members, particularly those facing crises or disconnection from services. Engage with community partners to advocate for culturally protected treatment within health and justice systems, while also guiding members to available resources, including housing and social supports.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide outreach to Yuułuʔiłʔatḥ members in Port Alberni and surrounding areas
• Support navigation of health and social services systems
• Advocate for members’ rights within service environments




• Facilitate restorative justice and diversion processes
• Maintain organized and confidential client records

Requirements:
• Diploma or degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
• Experience in community support or health services
• Valid Class 5 BC Driver's Licence
• Criminal Record Check including Vulnerable Sector screening
• Ability to work with Indigenous individuals and families
