Job Summary

We are looking for a reliable, motivated individual to join our flooring installation team. Experience in flooring or construction is an asset, but not required. We are willing to train the right person who is dependable, hardworking, and interested in learning a skilled trade.

This is a full time permanent position with the prospect to learn hands-on from an experienced flooring installer.

Responsibilities
Assist with installation of various types of flooring
Carry, load and unload flooring and installation materials
Prepare job sites and subfloors for installation
Measure, cut and handle flooring materials
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Learn proper flooring installation techniques and tools
Work efficiently while maintaining attention to detail

Requirements
Experience with hand tools and basic construction practices preferred but not required; training provided for motivated learners
Prior experience in flooring installation, tile laying, carpentry, or handyman work is a plus




Robust attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship
Physical stamina to stand, kneel, lift heavy materials, and work in various environments throughout the day
Knowledge of caulking techniques and surface preparation methods beneficial
Reliable work ethic with a positive attitude eager to learn current skills in flooring installation
Valid driver's licence
Must be physically capable of lifting and carrying heavy flooring and materials

We aren't necessarily looking for someone who already knows everything about flooring. We're looking for someone who shows up on time, wants to work, takes pride in what they do, and wants to learn a skilled trade.
