In this role with OTG, your geological insights will be essential to the Ontario Line project. You will oversee geotechnical operations such as open-cut excavations while ensuring that geological data informs every phase of construction. Collaborating closely with engineers and project managers, you'll help mitigate risks and contribute to comprehensive project success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct geological assessments during excavations
• Analyze joint features and ground stability




• Provide recommendations for rock support systems
• Maintain logs and reports of geological observations
• Support coordination between project stakeholders
Requirements:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geology
• Registration in Ontario as a P.Geo
• Solid experience with rock stability assessments
• Knowledge of excavation techniques
• Excellent communication skills in construction settings
