We are seeking a agile and dedicated Class 1 Truck Driver to join our transportation team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for safely operating heavy-duty trucks to transport freight across various routes, ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining the highest safety standards. Responsibilities
Safely operate Class 1 trucks to transport freight over long and short distances, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment, ensuring proper handling and securement of cargo
Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles, including checking brakes, tires, lights, and fluid levels to ensure optimal performance
Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, pickups, and vehicle logs in compliance with company policies
Perform routine automotive repairs or coordinate with maintenance teams for repairs needed during trips or at the yard




Assist with freight management by verifying shipment contents and ensuring proper documentation accompanies each load
Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and clients to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any issues promptly

Requirements
Valid Class 1 commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record
Minimum 2 years experience
Proven experience in commercial driving and heavy equipment operation
Ability to operate forklifts safely and efficiently; forklift certification is preferred
Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety protocols for transporting goods
Basic automotive repair skills to troubleshoot minor vehicle issues on the road or at the yard
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate record keeping
Physical ability to load/unload freight and perform vehicle inspections as required

Pay: $6,000.00-$7,500.00 per month
