Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sandblaster and Fiberglasser to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing surfaces through abrasive blasting and applying fiberglass coatings to various components and structures. Your work will ensure high-quality finishes, durability, and adherence to safety standards. This position offers an exciting chance to develop your skills in manufacturing processes while contributing to the production of top-tier products.

Responsibilities
Operate sandblasting equipment to clean and prepare surfaces for finishing or assembly
Apply fiberglass layers accurately using hand tools and power tools, ensuring proper coverage and adhesion
Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues and perform routine maintenance
Follow safety protocols diligently, including wearing protective gear during abrasive blasting and fiberglass application
Assist in assembly processes by handling parts with hand tools and power tools,



ensuring precision and quality
Maintain cleanliness of work area, document work progress, and adhere to lean manufacturing principles for efficiency

Skills
Experience with manufacturing settings, especially involving machining or mechanical assembly
Solid knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and welding techniques for surface preparation and finishing
Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and quality checks
Familiarity with lean manufacturing practices to optimize workflow and reduce waste
Mechanical aptitude with the ability to understand technical drawings and assembly instructions

Ability to perform basic welding tasks as needed for surface repairs or finishing touches

Pay: $20.00-$35.00 per hour
