Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable, experienced Level 2 Dental Assistant to join our small, family-run boutique office. The position is part-time, temporary coverage on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays (hours between 10am-5pm) covering leave of absence until May 2027.

The ideal candidate will have a solid background working in oral surgery, complex root canal, and implant procedures, so previous experience working in a specialist setting or the ability to manage these type of procedures in existing office is a huge asset. Minimum 1 year experience working in a Canadian dental office.

Paid working interview will be conducted to ensure a valuable fit.

Duties
Assist the dentist during various procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available. Previous experience assisting for root canals, tooth extractions, and dental implants are an asset.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.




Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Clean up operatories, sterilize dental instruments, and maintain cleanliness in the treatment area to adhere to infection control protocols.

Qualifications
Level 2 dental assisting qualifications; familiarity in assisting for root canals, wisdom teeth extractions, and dental implants an asset
Proficiency in speaking Cantonese and/or Mandarin is an asset
Knowledge of dental tools and equipment is beneficial
Good interpersonal skills

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
