Job Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join a wholesale distribution team in Vancouver, British Columbia on a Contract basis. This in-office opportunity will provide short-term support to the accounting function by helping explicit a backlog of payables-related administrative work. The role is well suited to someone who is organized, accurate, and comfortable handling invoice processing, data entry, and document management in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities:
Process incoming invoices by organizing records, entering information into the accounting system, and maintaining accurate documentation.
Upload and save payable documents in Acumatica and shared folders to support timely recordkeeping and retrieval.
Perform data entry activities with a high level of accuracy to help bring accounting files up to date.
Assist with two-way and three-way matching by comparing invoices, purchase details, and supporting records.
Reconcile credit card receipts against statements and flag discrepancies for review.




Maintain orderly digital and physical filing systems to support the accounts payable process.
Work closely with the accounting team in an in-office setting to complete priority administrative and payable tasks.
Support catch-up efforts within the department by handling high-volume transactional work efficiently.

Requirements:
Previous experience in accounts payable, bookkeeping support, or a related accounting administration role.
Working knowledge of invoice processing, account reconciliation, and data entry practices.
Hands-on experience with Acumatica, or the ability to learn similar accounting software quickly.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for basic tracking, review, and record maintenance.
Robust attention to detail with the ability to manage repetitive tasks accurately.
Well-developed organizational skills and the ability to prioritize urgent work effectively.
Comfortable working on site in Vancouver, British Columbia in a business casual office environment.
