THE ROLE

As a Reach Forklift Operator, you will be working in a food distribution facility, doing both forklift operations and general labour in Milton ON. This is a great temp to permanent chance for someone who enjoys working in a state-of-the-art clean facility for a reputable and leading company in food distribution services. You will be working in a team setting on the afternoon shift. This is a growing company that is very busy right now. This position is located in Milton for a large size distribution facility.

Eveing Shift 6:00 pm to 2:00 am Sunday to Thursday
Weekly Pay

RESPONSIBILITIES
Operating dock stocker, reach and counterbalance forklifts
Sorting skids
Loading skids onto trailers
Sorting returned pop/chicken totes from drivers and wrapping them
Adheres to all Preferred Work Methods and Standard Operating Procedures.
Carries out duties in a safe manner as instructed through safety training.
Participate in various meetings/groups (shift, departmental, company and safety).
Performs other duties as assigned by the Warehouse Manager and Supervisors

REQUIREMENTS
Must have a clear criminal record
Must have 4+ years of reach truck, counterbalance, and dock stocker forklifts
Work safely and follow all company policies, procedures, and work practices
Have a excellent team attitude and willingness to help
Forklift certification is a requirement
Must be comfortable lifting 50 lbs regularly and comfortable working in the cold
