You will be responsible for implementing engaging activities, supervising assistants, and ensuring that all residents receive tailored support for their unique needs. Your expertise in exercise and recreation is vital in promoting a healthy, holistic lifestyle for our community members.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and oversee wellness programming for seniors
• Supervise Life Enrichment staff and volunteers
• Adapt programs for individuals with varying abilities
• Foster community and support among residents
• Plan events enhancing resident participation and joy
Requirements:
• Degree/diploma in Kinesiology, Recreation, or Therapies
• Solid experience in geriatric recreational programming
• Current CPR and First Aid certifications
• Familiarity with community resources and safety regulations
• Ability to manage physical requirements of the job
