As part of SHN, you’ll report to the Manager of Allied Health. Your role will focus on providing specialized Speech Language Services to patients in General Medicine, Stroke, and Rehabilitation. Experience with patients from diverse backgrounds, especially geriatric and multicultural individuals, is an advantage for this rewarding position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive assessments for speech and communication disorders
• Conduct clinical swallowing assessments and manage related disorders




• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care
• Educate and train staff, students, and families
• Maintain detailed documentation of patient interactions
Requirements:
• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Registered with CASLPO in Ontario
• Experience with neurogenic disorders and swallowing assessments
• Solid communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work effectively under pressure
