We are currently recruiting an experiencedDurability Engineerto join our team supporting our client in the automotive industry.NOTE:OnsiteMust be willing and able to travel to the USA, without restrictions, effective on the start dateValid driver's license is required as well as a clean driving recordRESPONSIBILITIESSetting up and conducting durability tests using MTS real-time hydraulically actuated simulators and conducting data acquisition using various data acquisition systemsCoordinating test specimen build, setting up data acquisition systems, simulator performance tuning and operation, data processing, daily durability test inspections/reporting, communicating test results to Product Engineering, attending test issue reporting meetings, and assisting in conducting durability issue investigationsOperate the simulators and possess a valuable ability to operate and conduct data acquisition at proving groundsCoordinate and instruct bargaining unit mechanics in performing specimen builds, installations, repairs and teardownsWork collaboratively with the RTS mechanic supervisor, union, management, maintenance and facilities teamsREQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Aeronautical Engineering required from an accredited universityMinimum of 2-5 years of engineering experience within a testing environment within the automotive industryExperience with data acquisition equipment using various transducers including accelerometers,
