At SickKids, you'll work directly with anesthesiologists to deliver exceptional care for surgical procedures. Your responsibilities include assessing patient status and addressing any perianesthesia issues, ensuring high standards of safety and ethical practices. Collaborating within an interprofessional team, you'll help create a supportive environment for patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess and respond to patient conditions promptly
• Participate in multidisciplinary health care teams




• Independently plan and deliver anesthesia care
• Maintain an ethical framework in care provision
• Engage in lifelong learning and clinical competence
Requirements:
• Accredited Anesthesia Assistant program completion
• Certified Clinical Anesthesia Assistant (CCAA) credential
• Valuable standing with CRTO or CNO
• At least 2 years of recent critical care experience
• Effective communication skills for team interactions
