Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Manager, Canadian Tax to lead all aspects of Canadian tax compliance, reporting, planning, and controversy management. This role will report directly to the V.P. of Tax and Treasury for the Americas and partner closely with Finance, Legal, Treasury, and business leaders to ensure compliance with Canadian tax laws while identifying opportunities to optimize the company's tax position and support business growth. The ideal candidate is a team-oriented leader with deep technical expertise in Canadian corporate taxation, strong business acumen, and a proven ability to manage complex tax matters in a dynamic environment. Tax Compliance & Reporting Lead the preparation, review, and filing of Canadian federal and provincial corporate income tax returns.



Oversee tax accounting and reporting under IFRS and/or US GAAP, including quarterly and annual tax provisions. Ensure timely and accurate compliance with tax laws, regulations, and reporting requirements. Manage tax balances, deferred taxes, tax disclosures, and supporting documentation. Tax Planning & Advisory Provide tax guidance on business initiatives, acquisitions, restructurings, and cross-border transactions. Identify and implement tax-efficient strategies while ensuring compliance with applicable regulations. Monitor legislative and regulatory developments and advise stakeholders on potential impacts.
