Ability to work 3 shifts, 2 weeks days, 2 weeks Afternoons and 2 weeks nightshigh speed Packaging, "A" level food companyincredible technologyFOOD, best industry out there.Specific Accountabilities:Ensure production matrix are achieved through implementation of PM programs, proper calibration and synchronization of machines, proper verification of machine settings after set up/change over and communicate any machine issues with Maintenance, Production and Equipment OEMActively participate in all Continuous Improvement Line improvement projects and act as the main internal technical resourceTraining of Machine Operators on ZIP lines principle of operations, Machine Operator troubleshooting, machine set up/change over, and daily/weekly PM projects.Coordinate with Maintenance Manager, Planner, and Purchaser to ensure needed machine spare parts are kept on stock and replenished when usedUnderstand, apply and actively participate in the implementation of Company’s Health & Safety Programs and Practices; including LOTO, Personnel Safety Practices, Secure-Lifting, Working at Heights,



and Incident/Accident ReportingOther duties as required and assigned by your manager.Ideal Qualifications:This is a Rotating Shift Position. Flexibility to work all 3 shifts, changing start times, including weekends. Plus overtime as needed.Technical College diploma in Engineering, Technology, Manufacturing Process, etc.5 years senior manufacturing operator experience or equivalent education and experience3 years’ experience in food processing or related industry considered an assetKnowledge of health and safety practices and food safety proceduresKnowledge of AB and European PLCs and Servo DrivesPrior experience in high-speed CPG or Food Manufacturing an assetAbility to observe processes, people and equipment activity to anticipate, identify, correct or prevent quality problems or production interruptionsAbility to prioritize tasks and ensure completion with minimal errorsAbility to train others in operations and routine machine careAbility to troubleshoot complex systemsElectro-Mechanical Technical aptitudeFrequent lifting and bending are requiredMay lift 35 lbs on an infrequent basisOther duties as assigned by your manager#J-18808-Ljbffr
