As part of your growth in the Operations Technician Qualifying Position (OTQP), you will engage in extensive training to perform independent tasks critical to gas system maintenance. Responsibilities include troubleshooting customer issues, performing leak detection, and preparing service applications. You'll also promote secure natural gas practices within the community.
Key Responsibilities:
• Install and maintain gas appliances and equipment
• Respond to customer emergencies and queries
• Gather and maintain data on service installations




• Conduct leak detection procedures
• Inspect work for compliance with safety standards
Requirements:
• Completed Grade 12 or equivalent
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license required
• Successful completion of Pre-Qualifying Assessment
• Physician verification of physical fitness
• Flexibility to travel for work assignments
